Background
HV Cable Installation – The client’s requirement was to remove a substation from their private network. C&P Engineering Services were tasked with trenching 350m of cable trench and installing 350m of high voltage 240mm cable to joint out the substation.

- Design & size the cable
- Excavate a 350m cable trench
- Identify existing cables at joint location, cable spike specified cables, install and joint the HV 350m of 240mm cable.
- Pressure test & phasing
- Project management & act as principal contractor
Outcome
Successful installation of 350m, high voltage cable, excavated a 350m cable trench, jointed the 240mm cable and acted as the principal contractor.
